Spring up your growth mindset to accelerate your personal and professional growth, and prevent mental health conditions.
“If you deliberately plan to be less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be deeply unhappy for the rest of your life. You will be evading your own capacities, your own possibilities. It’s incredibly harmful to hold a fixed mindset, to believe intelligence and talent is static. Yet, most of us hold a fixed mindset in multiple areas of our lives”
— Abraham Maslow
With a fixed mindset, people believe their talents, abilities, and intelligence are set at birth. They fear trying new things because they want to look smart and talented even though they lack experience. Individuals with a growth mindset, in contrast, know their talents, abilities, and intelligence can develop through deliberate practice. People with fixed mindsets believe that their potential is fixed while people with a growth mindset believe that their true potential is unknown.
Many studies have confirmed that intelligence can definitely be developed and that there are no limitations in what people can learn throughout their lives. According to the psychologist Jesper Mogensen, “our brain is like a muscle that gets stronger with use and that learning prompts neurons in the brain to grow new connections.” Thus, you need to embrace a growth mindset to preserve your mental health.
This training helps you understand the areas of your lives where you are keeping a fixed mindset and discover the reasons which are holding you back to grow. In this observation you will realize the obstacles that you can overcome to shift your fixed mindset into a growth mindset. In this training you will learn how to change your self-talk from using the words *I cannot’ into ‘I want to’. You will learn how to see a challenge with the joy of success instead of with the fear and shame of failure. You will become a person who loves challenges because you see this as an opportunity for tremendous personal growth.
